Yes, the night is still young

Living Up the Expectation

There are times when people think that you are standing in front of them because you are a capable and skillful person who know your stuffs right to the bone. In fact most of the time this is just not the case. Yet again it might be that there are no living person really as capable and as skillful as their appearances. But most of us manage well and live up most of the expectation.

How you manage to live up the expectation? I believe this related to the abstraction capability which I define as the ability to reckon past experiences, and use it to overcome new challenges.

How it happens, might at least from the below factors:

1. Cross references logic: ability to transform our seems unrelated fraction of knowledges to become a new idea.
2. Simplification and fact gathering. any complex thing are build on many simple things. the Five why could help you to simplify and gather fact.
3. basic knowledges: as good as you with cross references you should have basic knowledges to start with, so come up and be prepared with at least basic stuff to begin with.

  1. this may actually work for challenge seekers. the problem is, i’m not sure if i’m one of them.. wouldn’t it be enough to just keep our motives in mind?
